Capt. David Foushee, left, 437th Airlift Wing flight safety officer, and Capt. Jonathan Mahan, 14th Airlift Squadron C-17 Globemaster III Pilot conduct flight training operations May 14, 2019, over the Gulf of Mexico. The training aimed to sharpen skills used to obtain and maintain air dominance while also improving inter-airframe operability. During the training, aircrews evaluated on their ability to mobilize, integrate, deploy and employ combat airpower assets on a larger scale while tactically integrating with their environment.
