Soldiers, Airmen, Seamen and Marines from the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa challenge themselves by participating in the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge qualification course at Camp Lemonnier Djibouti City, Djibouti June 5, 2019. The swimming portion of the competition required them to swim 100m in their combat uniforms and then remove the outer layers of their uniform and throw it out of the pool, all while treading water.
