Cavalry Scouts from the Idaho Army National Guard, 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team, form a defensive fighting position during the detonation of a M58 Mine Clearing Line Charge June 12, 2019, at the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, California. The MICLIC was deployed by a M1150 Assault Breacher Vehicle from the 116th Brigade Engineer Battalion.
The 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team is training at the National Training Center May 24 - June 20 to prepare for its wartime mission. The rotation builds unit and Soldier proficiency to provide combatant commanders with a trained and ready force capable of fighting and winning our nation's wars.
