ANDAMAN SEA (June 14, 2019) U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Jay Pinto, from Petaluma, Calif., assigned to 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) hikes the nose of the landing gear on an MV-22 Osprey, attached to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 163 (Reinforced) on the portside flight deck elevator of amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4). The Boxer Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and 11th MEU are deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to support regional stability, reassure partners and allies, and maintain a presence to respond to any crisis ranging from humanitarian assistance to contingency operations.
