Hawaii Air National Guard pilots assigned to the 204th Airlift Squadron, fly a C-17 Globemaster III June 10, 2019, over the Atlantic Ocean. A team of ANG and active duty Airmen traveled to Ramstein Air Base, Germany, for exercise Swift Response 19. The Airmen traveled from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, to join approximately 5,600 other participants from eight NATO nations. This year’s iteration of the exercise includes service members from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. Exercise SR19 promotes regional stability and security, while increasing readiness, strengthening partner capabilities and fostering trust.
