Sgt. Sadat Allhassan, a motor transport operator with 1st Sustainment Command (Theater) in Kuwait, is one of the three competitors for the 2007 Third Army/U.S. Army Central Non-commissioned Officer of the Year. Allhassan, from Bronx, N.Y., and the two other NCOs will compete for the title Aug. 27 to 30 at Fort McPherson, Ga. The contest includes common tasks testing, weapons range, day and night land navigation, a written exam and a board appearance. The winner of this competition will head to Fort Lee, Va., in October to compete for the title of the 2007 Department of the Army NCO of the Year.
