Coast Guard Performs Search and Rescue Demonstration at Portland Rose Festival [Image 2 of 5]
Petty Officer 3rd Class Brian Evans, an aviation survival technician, works with Petty Officer 2nd Class Steven Adair, an aviation maintenance technician, to bring a saved dummy victim aboard the MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter during a search and rescue demonstration over the Willamette River at the annual Rose Festival in Portland, Ore., June 8, 2019.
The aircrew, which also consists of a pilot and co-pilot, are from Coast Guard Air Station Astoria, Warrenton, Ore. and part of Sector Columbia River which executes missions along 420 miles of coast, 465 miles of inland rivers and 33 ports.
