From June 2 to 12, New Jersey Army National Guard Soldiers with the 1st Battalion, 254th Regional Training Institute (Combat Arms) trained the Special Forces soldiers on long range marksmanship and other combat skills. The National Guard State Partnership Program is a U.S. Department of Defense program managed by the National Guard that links U.S. States with partner countries for the purpose of supporting the security cooperation objectives of the geographic Combatant Commanders.
