    Dr. Jesse Ballenger and George Tinseth, archaeologist field technicians, carefully remove a large block of sediment during an excavation at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz., Feb. 9. Archaeologists are excavating the land in order to make way for a solar array the base is planning to build.
