Pfc. Victor Miranda Aranda, a native of Monterey, Mexico, uses a fire extinguisher to dowse a fire during a training event with members of the Forward Operating Base Fenty Fire Department during a training event to learn all the techniques needed to extinguish a fire caused by petroleum should it occur. Petroleum supply specialists assigned to the Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Armored Division consistently work with large quantities of petroleum to safely and securely ensure that all military aircraft are properly fueled to accomplish operations.
