    190604-N-XK398-1058 SATTAHIP NAVAL BASE, Thailand (June 4, 2019) Royal Thai Navy (RTN) Petty Officer 2nd Class Lexpha Supanut, assigned to RTN Navy Diver and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Center, right, and U.S. Navy Diver 2nd Class Stephen Collister, assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 1, are brought up after a joint dive exercise aboard the Military Sealift Command Safeguard-class salvage ship USNS Salvor (T-ARS 52) during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Thailand 2019. This year marks the 25th iteration of CARAT, a multinational exercise series designed to enhance U.S. and partner navies’ abilities to operate together in response to traditional and non-traditional maritime security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.
