Sailors assigned to Naval Weapons Station Yorktown light three candles during a brief remembrance ceremony at the conclusion of a historical presentation provided by Laura Orr, Director of Education at the Hampton Roads Naval Museum. The presentation covered the Battle of Midway, which took place on June 3-7, 1942 and is remembered as a pivotal moment in naval history.
