U.S. Marines and Peruvian senior military leaders have a discussion during the Pacific Amphibious Leaders Symposium (PALS) in Honolulu, June 4, 2019. PALS brings together senior amphibious force leaders of allied and partnered militaries with an interest in amphibious operations and capability development. This is the fifth iteration of the premier symposium, and each year attendees work to further develop regional relationships, cooperation and dialogue. This year, PALS dialogue promotes and enhances regional Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HA/DR) amphibious operational concepts, capabilities and cooperation.
