A ribbon-cutting or cake-cutting ceremony is taking place at a location called 'Rose City Bistro,' likely a military dining facility. A civilian in a blue shirt and a Navy service member in camouflage uniform are jointly cutting a large decorated cake, while two other Navy personnel in uniform observe in the background. The setting appears to be a military galley or cafeteria.

Museum Educator AJ Orlikoff from the Hampton Roads Naval Museum tours the Mercy-Class hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH-20) prior to delivering a presentation concerning the Battle of Midway. The tour was facilitated by ABF1 Mikhail Levin and HM1 Edna Wallace. The presentation is in tandem with NAVADMIN 067/19, which denotes June 2019 as the 77th anniversary for one of the nation’s most historically significant naval victories. The Battle of Midway occurred on June 3-7, 1942; and changed the tide of war in the Pacific during WWII. During the engagement with Japanese Forces, 347 American servicemembers perished. After the presentation, crewmembers enjoyed some refreshments and cake. (US Navy Photo by Max Lonzanida/Released).
