Capt. Troy M. McClelland, 1st Naval Construction Regiment Commander, listens to an operational brief during his visit to the Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 17. McClelland addressed the battalion on the state of affairs of the Naval Construction Forces, observed battalion training, had lunch with the troops and engaged in other operational meetings. NMCB 17 is a routinely deployable unit, constantly training both technical and tactical skills to provide construction support for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other organizations.
