Maj. Robert Soper, OH-58A Kiowa pilot and Colorado Counterdrug coordinator, makes final approach as he prepares to land at an airfield near Montrose, Colo., during an aerial surveillance mission in August. Members of the Colorado Counterdrug Task Force and the Bureau of Land Management law enforcement officers were searching for illegal marijuana grows on public lands in Western Colorado. The Colorado Counterdrug Task force assisted BLM officers with aerial surveillance during August and September.
