OKINAWA, Japan (May 31, 2019) ̶ Patrol Squadron (VP) 5 Commanding Officer Cmdr. Robert Wilkerson, celebrates with a champagne shower from his fellow sailors after his final flight as Commanding Officer of VP-5. The "Mad Foxes" of VP-5 are currently deployed to Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan conducting maritime patrol and reconnaissance and theater outreach operations within U.S. 7th Fleet (C7F) area of operations in support of Commander, Task Force 72, C7F, and U.S. Pacific Command objectives throughout the Indo-Asia Pacific region.
