190525-N-UM706-0384 GULF OF ADEN (May 25, 2019) An MH-60R Sea Hawk Helicopter assigned to the “Grandmasters” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron assists with the medical evacuation a mariner from the French-flagged motor vessel Jules Verne, after receiving a ‘Safety of Life at Sea’ request, May 25. Nitze is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet areas of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic check points.
