U.S. Army paratroopers assigned to Comanche Troop, 1st Squadron (Airborne), 91st Cavalry Regiment descend to the ground during airborne operations during Exercise Erciyes, May 23, 2019.
Exercise Erciyes 2019 is a multinational exercise with participating armed forces from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Pakistan, Turkey and the United States. The 18-day exercise will take place at the Martyr Lt. Hasan BAK D/L Zone outside the city of Kayseri, Turkey, and is designed to test and improve the interoperability of combat support and combat service support units with combat units. The exercise will improve combat readiness among participating countries.
