A U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook helicopter, assigned to Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, conducts an air assault mission with a Army Ground Mobility Vehicle (AGMV) sling loaded with Paratroopers assigned to Attack Company, 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, loaded on board during Exercise Immediate Response at Vojarna Josip Jovic Airbase, Udbina, Croatia, May 17, 2019. Exercise Immediate Response is a multinational exercise co-led by Croatian Armed Forces, Slovenian Armed Forces, and U.S. Army Europe. The logistics-focused exercise is designed to test and improve the ability to move forces and equipment rapidly from one location to another.
