First responders from the 509th Medical Group arrive on scene to provide medical assistance to a moulaged victim during a Major Accident Response Exercise Feb. 23. The goal of the MARE was to provide an opportunity for first responders and emergency management Airmen to respond and react to an active shooter emergency and evaluate their ability to coordinate with other base agencies.
