Army Maj. Gen. Gregory Lusk, the North Carolina National Guard Adjutant General, commends Army Spc. Jacob Hester-Heard, public affairs specialist with the 382nd Public Affairs Detachment for his hard work during his deployment after the welcome home ceremony May 17, 2019 at the NCNG Joint Force Headquarters. The 382nd PAD was the first Public Affairs unit to directly support the Armored Brigade Combat Team supporting the Atlantic Resolve in Europe mission. Atlantic Resolve is a U.S. Army Europe led Department of Defense mission enhancing the readiness, interoperability and bonds between our NATO allies and partner nations by conducting multinational training events in Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Romania.
