ATLANTIC OCEAN (May 11, 2019) Intelligence Specialist 1st Class Rondetrius Morris, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80), finds the relative bearing of a surface contact. Roosevelt is operating in the Atlantic Ocean in support of exercise Formidable Shield 19. Formidable Shield is designed to improve allied interoperability in a live-fire, integrated air and missile defense environment using NATO command and control reporting structures.
