Children from a Children’s Welfare Center in Beppu City, Japan, listened to Lance Cpl. Perry, an artilleryman with 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, play a medley of songs Feb. 25. Perry was part of a community relations event performed by the Marines of 3rd Battalion, 12th Marines to increase the understanding between the Japanese people and the U.S. Marine Corps. 3rd Battalion, 12th Marines is a part of 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
