A 152nd Airlift Wing, Nevada Air National Guard, C-130 trails a U.S. Forest Service lead plane in preparation to make a water training drop in Grand Canyon Hills, Colorado approximately 40 miles southwest of Peterson Air Force Base May 6, 2019. This C-130 Hercules is directed where to drop the water by a ‘poof’ of smoke released by the aerial supervision module, more commonly known as the lead plane or ASM.
