The U.S. Marine Silent Drill Platoon's guidon whips in the dessert wind during practice in preparation for the Battle Color Detachment's upcoming performances in the local area at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., Feb. 28, 2012. SDP, the U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle Corps and Marine Corps Color Guard, compose the BCD and all are Marine Barracks Washington-based. The BCD is scheduled to commence its National Installation Tour at the beginning of March.
