SANTA RITA, Guam (May 6, 2019) Guam Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero, center, and Lt. Gov. Josh Tenorio, back, are rendered honors aboard the submarine tender USS Emory S. Land (AS 39) during a tour of the ship at U.S. Naval Base Guam, May 6, 2019. Guam is the homeport for the U.S. Navy's only two submarine tenders, Emory S. Land and USS Frank Cable (AS 40), which provide maintenance, hotel services and logistical support to submarines and surface ships in the U.S. 5th and 7th Fleet areas of operation.
