SANTA RITA, Guam (May 7, 2019) Information Systems Technician 1st Class Geoffrey Trimble (left), a native of Columbus, Ga., assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron (CRS) 2, shows the Republic of Palau's Vice President Raynold B. Oilouch’s (right) the capabilities of an aft Mark 50 remote weapons system during a tour of a Mark VI patrol boat during Oilouch’s visit to U.S. Naval Base Guam. CRS-2 is assigned to Costal Riverine Group 1, Det. Guam and is capable of conducting maritime security operations across the full spectrum of naval, joint and combined operations. Further, it provides additional capabilities of port security, embarked security, and theater security cooperation around the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
