Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 12.2 Marines prepare to set off an improvised Bangalore torpedo, used to clear obstacles such as booby traps, using a timed igniter on Camp Lejeune, N.C., Feb. 15, 2012. Marines and Sailors learned how to build different types of improvised explosives using C-4 and various common materials. The training was part of the SPMAGTF's pre-deployment exercises preparing the Marines and sailors for their upcoming deployment to Africa.
