Spc. Nico Smith, CBRN Specialist, 436th Civil Affairs Battalion, Orlando, Florida, is helped out of his gear after completing the 10k ruck-march route April 29, 2019 at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, during the USACAPOC(A) Best Warrior Competition.
Each day the competitors were physically and mentally tested, with little sleep, little food, all without knowing what was next. The winners will continue on to the USARC Best Warrior Competition, scheduled June 23-29, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Smith was named runner-up in the enlisted division.
