Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) Rear Adm. Satoru Onishi, the commander of Fleet Air Wing 31, and U.S. Marine Corps Col. Richard Fuerst, the commanding officer of Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni visit the flightline to view Team Fastrax perform a flag jump during the 43rd JMSDF – MCAS Iwakuni Friendship Day held at MCAS Iwakuni, May 5, 2019. Since 1973, MCAS Iwakuni has held a single-day air show designed to foster positive relationships and offer an exciting experience that displays the communal support between the U.S. and Japan.
