1st Lt. Serguei Louchnikov of Chino, Calif., the 1-160th Infantry Battalion, California Army National Guard Scout Platoon Leader, briefs soldiers from the 1-160th Inf. Bn. before they begin reconnaissance missions for Operation Red Snow. Nearly 100 California Air and Army National Guardsmen conducted cold weather training at Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center in Pickel Meadows, about 20 miles northwest of Bridgeport, Calif., Feb. 13–17.
