Petty Officer 3rd Class Brent Hoeft runs out of the launch path while signaling that an F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to the "Black Aces" of Strike Fighter Attack Squadron (VFA) 41, is attached to the catapult and ready for launch aboard nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and embarked Carrier Air Wing 11 are deployed in 5th Fleet area of operations conducting maritime operations and supporting the Global War on Terrorism.
