More than 60 Soldiers from the 524th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, were honored April 30, 2019 Schofield Barracks, Hawaii during a redeployment ceremony celebrating the successful completion of a 9-month combat tour in support of Operations Spartan Shield, Inherent Resolve, and Freedoms Sentinel.
These Soldiers conducted area sustainment and strategic distribution in support of the 38th Sustainment Brigade, 300th Sustainment Brigade, and the 1st Theater Sustainment Command.
The Soldiers provided multi-class supply, retrograde operations, liquid logistics, aerial delivery, and general sustainment support throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. (U.S. Army Photo by Sgt. Sarah D Williams)
