Considered the founding event of Fiesta San Antonio, commemorates the victory at San Jacinto and is the second largest day-time parade in the U.S. The parade is also the largest parade in the nation produced entirely by volunteer women. We honor the long-standing partnership between the U.S. military and San Antonio in annual Fiesta events, which commemorate Texas' independence after the Battle of San Jacinto and The Alamo.
