    3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division Public Affairs

Nicholas Melin, the senior enlisted adviser and brigade executive officer for the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division listen to the round table discussion hosted for the Deputy Secretary of Defense Dr. Ashton B. Carter’s visit to the brigade. The panel was hosted to take advantage of the hindsight on fielded equipment, training events, and cultural training that has helped the brigade during its deployment. Carter visited the brigade six months earlier in August 2011, as the unit was preparing for its deployment to Afghanistan.
