A U.S. Navy submarine is navigating on the surface of a harbor, with crew members visible on the hull and sail (conning tower). The background reveals a naval base facility with piers, buildings, palm trees, a red-and-white striped lighthouse or navigation tower, and mountainous terrain consistent with Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The vessel appears to be either departing or arriving at port.
