PALMA DE MALLORCA, Spain (April 16, 2019) Gen. Juan Cifuentes Alvarez, commanding general, Balearic Islands and Rear Adm. John Wade, commander of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 12, shake hands after a gift exchange. Abraham Lincoln is in port to strengthen its relationship with allies as part of Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group deployment in support of maritime security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th, U.S. 6th, and U.S. 7th Fleet areas of operation.
