Mr. Julian "Jules" Richmond, the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center's International Research Office Executive Assistant, was recognized for 15 years of service to the U.S. Government during a recent visit to the IRO by Maj. Gen. Jeffrey L. Milhorn, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, North Atlantic Division Commander. Jules has spent his entire 15-year Federal career with ERDC, working with four different IRO directors during that time. He provides continuity of operations for IRO by maintaining awareness and assisting in planning for all major engagements, communicating across the IRO professional network, and assisting in the identification of new cooperative opportunities. NAD, commanded by Milhorn, manages construction for the Army and Air Force commands in Europe, Africa and the northeast United States for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. According to NAD, "Julian is a proactive team member and seeks to inform us of opportunities that can expand USACE collaborations and participation in outside the continental United States engagements. He provides outstanding support for NAD's diverse interactions with EUCOM and AFRICOM."
