Brewster Middle School students observe how to construct a cast during Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune's (NMCCL) Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Fair April 12, 2019. More than 120 students from Department of Defense Education Activities Brewster Middle School aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune participated in the STEM Fair. The event aims to introduce the students to different fields of study within the medical field that use STEAM techniques. Ten stations led by NMCCL sailors demonstrated potential fields of study within the Navy that students may not have previously considered for their futures.
