The Seattle Seahawks cheerleaders, the Sea Gals, perform for sailors and Marines aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island. Their visit to the ship was part of an Armed Forces Entertainment-sponsored tour to help boost morale for deployed troops. Makin Island and embarked Marines assigned to the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit are deployed supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
