Marines with Flight 1, 2nd Air Squadron, Marine Flying Field, Marine Barracks, Quantico, Va., fill bomb shells for a Martin MBT biplane aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., in the early 1920s. Flight 1 eventually became Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 11, whose mission has been to support Marine Corps aviation for nearly a century.
