Marines with Flight 1, 2nd Air Squadron, Marine Flying Field, Marine Barracks, Quantico, Va., prepare to work on an aircraft aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., in the early 1920s. Flight 1 eventually became Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 11, whose mission has been to support Marine Corps aviation for nearly a century.
