Lance Cpl. Blake Sanders, an administrative clerk with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, stamps a package at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, April 5, 2019. Sanders, a native of Cape Coral, Florida, enlisted in September of 2017 after graduating from Mariner High School. He enlisted to better himself as a person. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
