First Lt. Glee Dada, 1st Sapper Platoon leader, 23rd Infantry Brigade, addresses his engineering soldiers during a combat engineering demonstration during graduation ceremonies from their first phase of the AFL Engineer Capacity Building Program, Camp Tubman, Liberia, Feb. 3. During the course, engineers were taught how to search for and destroy land mines, establish potable water sources and other necessary combat engineer capabilities. The capacity building of the AFL is divided up among United Nations Mission in Liberia-attached personnel, United States military units from Operation Onward Liberty and other military units that have come together to build up the fledgling AFL into a competent, professional military service.
