Charles Bidlingmaier, a fire support specialist with Company A, 2nd Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, out of Fort Bliss, Texas, currently attached to the 2nd BCT, 1st Infantry Division, pulls guard during a check at an Iraqi army checkpoint in western Baghdad, Iraq, on Aug. 3. During the stop the unit got an update on the occurrences in the area and discussed what the Iraqi soldiers needed.
