Staff Sgt. Peter A. Scott, a platoon sergeant with Combat Engineer Company, Combat Assault Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, gives a demolition handling and usage class during demolitions training. Scott, a 29-year-old Miami, Fla., native, stressed gear familiarization and safety before conducting training during Exercise Cobra Gold 2012. Cobra Gold is a recurring multinational and multiservice exercise co-hosted by the U.S. and the Royal Kingdom of Thailand designed to advance regional security by exercising a multinational force from nations sharing common goals and security commitments in the Asia-Pacific region.
