Lt. Kevin Smit is awarded the Air Medal by Rear Adm. Keith Smith, commander of the Coast Guard’s 5th District, at Air Station Atlantic City New Jersey, April 2, 2019.

Smit was awarded the Air Medal for meritorious achievement in medevacing a heart attack victim in adverse weather conditions.
