Lance Cpl. Diego Velazquez Valdivia leads the audience and fellow naturalized service members in the Pledge of Allegiance during a naturalization ceremony on Kandahar Airfield, Feb. 10. Valdivia was the youngest of 36 soldiers, Marines and airmen who were granted citizenship during the ceremony, receiving their certificates and viewing a video message from President Barack Obama, congratulating the newly naturalized service members.
