Spc. Koran Payton, a supply specialist with Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 1st Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, uses a fire extinguisher to put out a controlled fire Jan. 30. Payton is part of the fire brigade on Camp Nathan Smith and received a week-long course on fighting small, manageable fires. The course had classroom training and hands-on exercises throughout the training.
